BraveWorks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to empower women and families overcoming trauma and injustice. The BraveWorks team helps to transform lives through artisan enterprise, leading to abundant and purposeful lives. Women around the world learn to make jewelry, clothing, home decor, handbags and more, building their confidence and helping them see their worth. These products provide supplemental income to the women and an income stream for the organization. Apparo connected A Child’s Place with AAA Carolinas to help them select a case management application for tracking and reporting on the homeless children they serve.
Lily Pad Haven received training on the use of SharePoint and OneDrive. Kevin Yount from CapTech conducted the training. By working with Apparo, they received this training at a fee of approximately 75% below market value.
Apparo matched the Arts & Science Council with a corporate volunteer team from Hylaine to asses their technology landscape and make recommendations for improvement.
