The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter won the Technology Innovation Award sponsored by Accenture. The organization will receive a $10,000 grant, as well as equally valued pro-bono consulting time from Accenture.

Apparo Announces Microsoft’s Presenting Sponsorship of the 2014 Digital Ball
Apparo’s primary fundraiser, The Digital Ball, will be presented by Microsoft. A 2012 Cloud Computing Survey of NGOS, nonprofits, and charities around the world found that 90 percent of those surveyed were using some form of cloud technology. However, lack of knowledge was the biggest barrier.
