Accenture supports Triangle Area Mission Possible recipients with an application selection and implementation
Sponsored by Accenture
Hope Renovations is a Triangle-based organization that envisions a world where all women can support their families, and seniors can stay in their homes their whole lives. Hope Renovations inspires hope in women and older adults for a joyful and fulfilling future. They do this by empowering women to pursue living-wage jobs in the construction trades via a hands-on training program, while their construction program provides repairs and renovations that enable older adults to stay in their homes as they age.
Currently, Hope Renovations’ staff members and trainees are working across multiple platforms to meet training needs. This collection of software is confusing and time-consuming for staff and the organization feels it will be difficult to scale as staff, locations, and trainee numbers grow with the current processes in place. The organization is looking for assistance with implementing a learning management system to serve as a centralized portal for their Training Program to support growth into multiple locations across North Carolina and the country over the next 5 years.
Growth-Enabling Software Solution
As the recipient of the 2023 Mission Possible Award in the Triangle Area, Hope Renovations will partner with an Accenture skilled volunteer team to assess their current state of managing the organization’s Training Program, identify and document business requirements for a learning management system, schedule and attend vendor demos and evaluating potential solutions, empowering Hope Renovations to make the best decision for their organization. Following identifying a solution, Accenture will then assist with implementing the new software.
Taking a careful approach to finding and implementing a quality learning management system that matches their unique needs will allow them to grow with greater efficiency. This new technology will also allow staff time to focus on teaching and supporting trainees, connecting graduates with jobs, recruiting new trainees into their program, and developing the capacity to continue expanding to new locations to serve more people. The new learning management software will allow for more efficient and effective communication with trainees about job and education opportunities, saving staff time to focus on the personal case management and career coaching necessary to support trainees in launching their new careers. With this implementation, Hope Renovations anticipates the ability to expand more quickly, running a greater number of cohorts in more locations, serving more trainees, and bringing more skilled workers to the industry.
