An Accenture volunteer provided business process improvement consulting to Apparo for their joint Mission Possible Program and gave recommendations as this program expands to new cities. In order to sustainably grow this program and ensure successful delivery of this program in both Charlotte and Raleigh, Apparo wanted to streamline their processes, which includes Art of the Possible scheduling for nonprofits and Accenture volunteers, nonprofit application collection and formatting, and judging scorecard collection and formatting.
Accenture skilled volunteers are helping select the best learning management system for Present Age Ministries, so that they can increase community awareness and understanding of Human Trafficking, which will help further ability to combating the sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls.
As winners of Apparo’s 2020 Mission Possible Award, A Better World received $50,000 of pro bono consulting and $10,000 in cash from Accenture for the selection and implementation of a new data management system.
Carolina Youth Coalition won the 2021 Mission Possible Award and recently completed their work with Apparo and Accenture volunteers. They are now well positioned to meet their 2024 goal of serving 67% more under-resourced high school seniors and setting them on a path to academic and career success.
