Yenting is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with significant experience working and collaborating with various nonprofits.  She is drawn to helping others to navigate hardships and obstacles in order to reach their goals and potential.  She has had the opportunity to work directly with survivors of  trauma such as domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and those experiencing homelessness by providing case management and mental health services.  Yenting is excited to transition from direct client work to working towards helping more amazing nonprofits affect positive change in the community.

Yenting has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in community organizing, planning and administration.  She also has B.A in Psychology and B.S in Elementary Education from Boston University.  Although she did not attend UNC-CH, she grew up in Chapel Hill and bleeds Tarheel blue.

Yenting recently moved to Charlotte and has been getting to know the vibrant Queen City with her family.  She is excited to establish roots in Charlotte with her husband, daughter and dog.
