Elizabeth joined Apparo in 2023 with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, arts administration and client service. She worked at Sotheby’s in New York City, then moved back to her hometown of Charlotte and worked at ArtsTeach, a grant-making nonprofit associated with the Arts & Science Council, which supported local nonprofits’ education programs. She later became gallery director and art consultant with Hodges Taylor Gallery, connecting individual and corporate clients with original art. Before joining Apparo, she served as Executive Director at BFB Foundation, a nonprofit foundation supporting the education of girls through scholarships and grants.
Elizabeth has enjoyed volunteering in Charlotte on grants panels through the Arts & Science Council, United Way and most recently the Women’s Impact Fund.
Elizabeth graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Art History and earned Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2015.
