Carrie joined forces with Apparo in 2022 to spearhead the expansion of Apparo’s impact into the Atlanta market. As Atlanta Director, she engages companies, skilled volunteers and partners in Apparo’s programs to amplify nonprofit impact through technology and process improvement.

Starting her career in technology consulting with Hewitt Associates and then Accenture, Carrie led implementations of HR systems including account and project management, communications, business process design and system design/testing. During that time, she volunteered with nonprofits to build websites and coach staff to maintain them and saw first-hand nonprofits’ tremendous need for technology and the expertise to appropriately apply it. This led her to join nonprofit TechBridge and as Chief Development Officer raised $20m+ in support of critical technology services for nonprofits. Carrie is grateful for the opportunity to now leverage this experience to establish Apparo as Atlanta’s go-to partner for technology skilled volunteerism.

Carrie received her BS in Business and BA in German from UNC-Charlotte. Born and raised in England, she has been an Atlanta resident for the last 30 years. She now lives in the intown neighborhood of Lake Claire with her husband and takes every opportunity to indulge in antiquing and repurposing vintage fabrics.
