Apparo champions cybersecurity efforts this Cybersecurity Month with the National Cybersecurity Alliance
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global effort to help everyone stay safe and protected when using technology whenever and however you connect. Apparo is proud to champion this online safety and education initiative this October to ensure nonprofits remain well-informed participants in this global cybersecurity movement.
All month long, we are promoting these key behaviors to encourage everyone to take control of their online lives. There are all kinds of ways to stay safe and secure online but even just practicing these cybersecurity basics can make a huge difference:
- Use Strong Passwords and a Password Manager
- Turn on Multifactor Authentication
- Recognize and Report Phishing
- Update Your Software
In addition to promoting these key cybersecurity behaviors, we are thrilled to announce our Cybersecurity Webinar series designed exclusively for nonprofits: “Easy and Affordable Cybersecurity Strategies for Nonprofits.” Throughout October, we invite you to join us as we delve into practical strategies tailored to bolster the online resilience of nonprofits.
