Nonprofit Marketing Strategies Part 2- Marketing for Volunteer-Related Goals
In part two of this Nonprofit Bytes+Insights webinar series, Apparo’s esteemed Director of Marketing, Bleema Bershad leads an immersive session for individuals who are taking on nonprofit marketing for the first time, for those who have a well-established marketing team, and for those anywhere in between. Joining Bleema is Sarah Friday, Apparo’s Program and Volunteer Manager. In this webinar, Bleema and Sarah offer strategies for harnessing marketing to reach volunteer-related goals. Bleema provides a deep dive into marketing as it relates to nonprofit volunteer programs, leveraging team support to achieve volunteer goals, delivering and gathering insights on current and potential volunteers to help ensure effectiveness, and building volunteer-focused plans and campaigns.
Bleema brought 20+ years of experience from both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors when she joined Apparo in 2018. She began her career in credit card marketing at MasterCard and most recently served as Director of Communications at PennPAC (University of Pennsylvania Pro bono Alumni Consulting.) Once she shifted to the world of nonprofits and realized how her professional skills could have such a meaningful positive impact on her community, she hasn’t looked back. As Director of Marketing, she creates and executes strategies to increase awareness of Apparo initiatives to corporate partners, nonprofits, and others interested in the nonprofit and technology sectors. Her focus is on clear communications that elevate the Apparo brand and drive engagement.
