Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Alex grew up knowing the importance of entrepreneurship and philanthropy through her father, who owns a small business in Gastonia, NC. After graduating from Davidson College, she moved to Manhattan to work for a boutique PR firm, where she worked exclusively on building relationships between Fortune 500 clients and magazines such as Vogue, Women’s Health, Nylon, etc. She took those skills back to NC with her new position at ADP, where she helps small business owners and nonprofits strategically manage revenue to ensure they stay in compliance, maximize their profits, and keep a team of happy and healthy employees. She works directly with business owners, as well as partners with their bankers and CPAs to streamline all of their backend processes.
