The LendaHand Alliance cohort is providing technology insights through maturity model assessments and practical education to nonprofits.
The LendingTree Foundation LendaHand Alliance cohort is a multi-year investment in 10 transformational nonprofits within our community. This alliance is designed to evaluate and address key needs of the nonprofit cohort agencies by providing technology insights. As part of this cohort, Apparo is providing the nonprofits involved with advice, training, and solutions to ensure they are equipped to maximize data reporting and donor management.
The nonprofits involved in the LendaHand Alliance are:
- ArtPop Street Gallery
- Charlotte is Creative
- Charlotte Rescue Mission
- Common Wealth Charlotte
- Digi-Bridge
- Do Greater Charlotte
- Dottie Rose Foundation
- Freedom Communities
- The Relatives
- West Side Community Land Trust
The Tech Therapy engagement includes the following:
- Introducing the nonprofits to Apparo by providing an overview of the services and resources available for nonprofits.
- Assessing each nonprofits current technology, systems, and processes through a technology maturity model assessment.
- Providing tech therapy consulting for each organization.
The technology maturity model is used to determine a nonprofit’s current technology state. As part of the cohort program, each nonprofit completed a maturity model to gain specific technology insights. The average score for the nonprofits was 3.2, indicating the nonprofits in the cohort perceive their technology state as “stable.” Seventy percent (70%) of the nonprofits reported data as their weakest point (with a score of 2 out of 5). And the majority, 60% of the nonprofits listed their tech budgets as their strongest point (with a score of 4 out of 5).
To sum up, as a partner in the LendaHand Alliance, Apparo will be able to further their reach and make a larger impact on nonprofits in the Charlotte community by providing technology insights to help these organizations work more efficiently toward their missions.
