Perry Pao is the head of information technology operations and infrastructure at Brighthouse Financial. Brighthouse Financial was established by MetLife in 2016 and is a major provider of annuity and life insurance solutions in the U.S.

In his role at Brighthouse Financial, Pao is responsible for information technology (IT) infrastructure and operations. This includes infrastructure engineering, delivery, management, strategy and IT service management.

Pao brings over 22 years of experience in IT delivering on strategy and infrastructure projects in the areas of cloud, network, data centers, end user computing, IT transformation, IT consolidation/integration and system integration across multiple industries. Prior to this role, Pao was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for infrastructure and cloud advisory, covering the financial services sector.

Pao graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical & computer engineering.
