Corporation of Guardianship is seeking a skilled volunteer team to conduct an assessment of their current data management systems and assist with an application selection process.
The Corporation of Guardianship is a non-profit organization which provides fiduciary services coupled with care management to vulnerable persons. They serve older adults and individuals with disabilities. Their services include Guardianship, Trustee of Special Needs Trusts, Power-of-Attorney, Representative Payee, and Proxy/Successor for family members who are currently serving in these roles but who are seeking additional support and assistance for their loved one either now or in the future
The Corporation of Guardianship staff uses multiple dispersed systems which creates challenges for data accuracy and reporting. They need to platform to support their financial management. They would like to have a system to handle all finance.
The Corporation of Guardianship will be matched with a team of skilled volunteers for this project who will work with the nonprofit to:
- Review Current State – Skilled volunteer team will work with The Corporation of Guardianship to review current financial management processes
- Create Business Requirements Document –Skilled volunteer team will work The Corporation of Guardianship to document prioritized business requirements based on their, gaps/pain points and current/future needs
- Conduct Marketplace Research – Skilled volunteer team will conduct marketplace research to determine three to four applications available in the marketplace that meet the requirements and budget
- Demo and Evaluation – Skilled volunteer team will schedule demos and help guide evaluation of each application against list of requirements
- Decision – The Corporation of Guardianship will select application that best fits their needs
- Additional help, if volunteers have the skillset – provide advice or guidance on pulling together a migration plan of migrating existing data to new system.
