Steve Hagood, SVP and CIO, Ingersoll Rand and folks from Amazon Web Services (AWS) came together to volunteer at Ada Jenkins Center through Apparo’s CIO Experiences.
They spent time together moving storage bins (such as the one pictured above) and working in the food pantry, before catching up over lunch.
“It’s always a pleasure giving my time through these CIO Experiences,” Steve said. “Networking in an unconventional manner, such as volunteering, is a refreshing change of tempo and scenery. And this time was especially rewarding, being able to support Apparo and Ada Jenkins Center simultaneously.”
Apparo’s CIO Experiences give companies the opportunity to bid on time with area CIOs. Not only do these create the opportunity for intentional, individualized networking – they also fund Apparo’s work with nonprofits in the greater Charlotte area.
