Volunteer team including those from Unisys Corporation, Duke Energy, Scribbles Software, and UNCC, will conduct a data process assessment to help identify the best software application for Partnership for Children of Lincoln & Gaston Counties.
The Partnership for Children of Lincoln & Gaston Counties (PFCLG) provides services, advocates, and collaborates with others to ensure the wellbeing of children so they can reach their health, developmental, and educational potential. They support local families through Smart Start, North Carolina’s award-winning early childhood initiative.
PFCLG reached out to Apparo for support in their goal to improve their data collection process. Currently, they manually compile data for 10 different in-house and contracted programs. This organization currently uses Google Sheets, Excel, and similar means for reporting. PFCLG would like assistance identifying one integrated system that allows for the collection, sharing, tracking, analysis, and reporting of data. They hope a new system will help accurately reflect the work being done in their Smart Start funded programming. A new system will allow PFCLG to generate quarterly reports with data that is required for the state agency, the North Carolina Partnership for Children. Additionally, this project will save staff hours by replacing manual reporting methods.
Apparo has matched PFCLG to a skilled volunteer team prepared to address their technology challenges. This volunteer team will review their current Smart Start data processes and determine the best software application to effectively support and grow with the organization.
