G.A.I.N. – Powered by Lowe’s
CGI skilled volunteers will provide technology insights and guided recommendations to Profound Gentleman through a detailed technology plan.
Profound Gentleman is on a mission is to build a community of male educators of color who provide a profound additional impact on boys of color. Their goal is to develop, support and retain highly effective male teachers of color across the nation to positively affect the academic achievement of all children in traditional public and charter schools, with particular attention to the achievement of boys of color.
Apparo’s G.A.I.N. (Growth, Agility and Innovation for Nonprofits) Grant Program provides nonprofit participants with the tools, training and other support they need to implement and sustain their technology and process improvements. G.A.I.N. delivers a one-year journey of technology and process improvement to a cohort of nonprofits to help them overcome their technology challenges and amplify their nonprofit impact. The G.A.I.N. program is generously sponsored by Lowe’s.
To begin their G.A.I.N. journey, Apparo matched Profound Gentleman to skilled volunteers from CGI, who are ready to offer their technology insights. CGI volunteers will work with Profound Gentleman to identify pain points in the organization’s current technological framework which will allow them to then provide recommendations for technology and process improvements. Volunteers will additionally provide strategies and guidance to help ensure changes are effectively implemented throughout the organization.
