Director of Marketing

Bleema brought 20+ years of marketing experience from both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors when she joined Apparo in 2018. She began her career in credit card marketing at MasterCard and most recently  served as Director of Communications at PennPAC (University of Pennsylvania Pro bono Alumni Consulting.) Once she made the shift to the world of nonprofits and realized how her professional skills could have such a meaningful positive impact on her community, she hasn’t looked back.

As Director of Marketing she creates and executes strategies to increase awareness of Apparo initiatives to corporate partners, nonprofits and others interested in the nonprofit and technology sectors. Her focus is on clear communications which elevate the Apparo brand and drive engagement.

Her dedication to the nonprofit sector extends to her volunteer work in which she serves on the Board of Social Venture Partners Charlotte. Outside of the office, she enjoys bike riding, experimenting with new recipes and binge watching television series.

Bleema received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from The Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
