Alyssa joined the Apparo team as PR & Marketing Coordinator in January, 2023. She received her BA in International Studies from NC State, concentrating in Global Development and Sustainability. Minoring in Anthropology and Nonprofit Studies sparked her passion for nonprofit work, where she found strengths in the marketing world. Prior to Apparo, Alyssa worked with Esteamed Coffee and BLOOMHERE, both nonprofits working to create positive change for marginalized communities in the Triangle area.

Upon moving to Matthews from Raleigh, she is eager to apply her skills and make a difference in the Charlotte community and beyond. Most of Alyssa’s days begin with coffee and yoga, but she’s always ready to find a new restaurant, the closest live music, or the best mountaintop view. Her favorite way to spend free time is traveling and exploring with her partner and family.
