Adrienne Craighead is passionate about using technology to improve lives and transform our community and is grateful for the opportunity to serve Apparo as the Director of Financial Development. She comes to this role with over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently as the founder and “Chief Illuminator” of TorchBearer Business Growth Consulting (a small firm that focuses on teaching entrepreneurs how to shift their mental paradigm from “selling” to “serving”).

Adrienne received her undergraduate degree from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina in Advertising and Public Relations. Her Masters degree in Communications is from the University of Auckland in New Zealand (earned as a recipient of the Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship). She spent the first decade of her professional life in media sales (radio, TV and digital) and the next decade in teaching others how communicate more effectively by employing humility, humor and curiosity to build stronger personal and professional relationships.

She has an insatiable appetite for lifelong learning and enjoys meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning new things. In fact, in May of 2018 she founded SPARK Sessions to build a tribe of others who have a zest for knowledge. On weekends, you’ll find her reading and writing, hiking and biking and enjoying outdoor adventures with her two daughters and her two rescue dogs.
