Skilled volunteers support Atlanta-area nonprofit in streamlining operations to amplify community impact
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBS), works with volunteers, parents, and families to create one-to-one mentoring relationships that defend, inspire, and empower the potential that lives within every kid. Their mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
BBBS has recently experienced rapid staff growth, increasing from 34 to 100. Although enrollment processes were recently streamlined, adjustments to technology were not addressed. Their services are delivered across multiple programs, each with its own delivery model that requires coordination and integration between multiple technology components. The organization was recently able to streamline enrollment processes but would like a comprehensive technology plan. They would like assistance evaluating their overall technology stack, identifying areas for improved efficiencies, and a strategic roadmap that better positions them for growth over the next 3-5 years.
Apparo paired them with a group of skilled volunteers from CapTech Consulting and Hylaine to support BBBS with a technology assessment of the organization’s current infrastructure, operations, security, and technology policies. The outcome of this Community Impact Project will be a comprehensive technology plan and roadmap that identifies gaps and pain points, creates an integrated technology plan, and improves long-term efficiency, ultimately empowering the organization to better serve the Metro Atlanta community.
