Apparo’s Kim Lanphear joins The Charlotte Ledger Podcast: Addressing community needs with corporate and nonprofit leaders
Apparo CEO Kim Lanphear joined The Ledger’s Managing Editor, Cristina Bolling for two conversations on The Charlotte Ledger Podcast to discuss Apparo initiatives that amplify nonprofit missions and the impact created in our communities. On “Empowering nonprofits through technology, with Kim Lanphear and Arno Czerveny”, Kim and Wells Fargo’s Arno Czerveny discuss how nonprofit missions are bolstered by access to technology and other business resources from Apparo’s community of skilled volunteers. Czerveny offers insights from the perspective of an Apparo volunteer since 2019 and recent Blue Diamond Award winner on the challenges nonprofits face, the potential for change when technology resources are available, and how tech leaders can support nonprofit efforts. Kim also reflects on the journey of transitioning from the for-profit world to leading a nonprofit organization.
In Kim’s second episode with Cristina, they are joined by nonprofit leaders Angie Bush, CEO of Hospitality House and Apparo Board Member, and Pete Vacho, Vice President of Veteran’s Bridge Home. In “Empowering nonprofits through skilled volunteering, with Angie Bush, Pete Vacho and Kim Lanphear”, nonprofit leaders discuss how volunteer support from Apparo has made a difference in their organizations and how Apparo has supported other nonprofits across Charlotte. Tune in for expert insights on nonprofit infrastructure challenges and the importance of skilled volunteering in addressing community needs.
