Duke Energy skilled volunteers will conduct a business process review and make recommendations for optimized use of Microsoft Teams for The Independence Fund.
Founded in 2007, The Independence Fund is committed to empowering our nation’s catastrophically wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. They are dedicated to improving the lives of both our Veterans and their families. Through their Mobility, Caregiver, Adaptive Sports, Advocacy, and Family programs, The Independence Fund strives to bridge the gap of unmet needs for Veterans and their caregivers.
The Independence Fund reached out to Apparo for help in optimizing their use of Microsoft Teams. We have matched them to a volunteer team from Duke Energy, in a product being facilitated by volunteer Change Agent, Raj Merchant of Perficient.
Skilled volunteers from Duke Energy will work with The Independence Fund review to review business processes and determine options for automating manual tasks using Microsoft Teams. The project includes the documentation and assessment of current business processes to identify pain points and inefficiencies along with recommendations to streamline the processes using Microsoft Teams. The volunteer team will also provide training materials and will conduct staff training based on the recommendations.
