Kirk is a senior IT leader with experience in healthcare, digital, omni-channel retail, automotive and consumer software. Kirk has held leadership positions in a broad range of IT functions including infrastructure, development, support, operations, and audit and has earned respect within organizations as an IT strategist.
In his most recent position at LPL Financial Kirk leads technology teams that build the digital platform for LPL Business Solutions. The platform includes the discovery, subscription, engagement, reporting and analytics used to deliver the various solutions to wealth advisors to help them run extraordinary businesses. Solutions currently include administrative, financial, marketing, mergers, acquisition and technology offerings to help small to medium business owners in the wealth management space.
Before LPL, Kirk worked at Novant Health leading teams that delivered omni-channel, digitally direct solutions for business capabilities across the health system including the virtual venue of care, Omnichannel patient and team member communications platforms.
Prior to Novant Health Kirk worked at GameStop, where he supported 4000+ North American retail stores including the corporate systems. These systems include the point-of-sale solution, GameStop.com, supply chain, mobile applications, enterprise resource planning, retail management, human resources and real estate.
Leading up to joining GameStop, Kirk worked at Stardock, a software development company. Kirk was instrumental in Stardock’s entrance into the original equipment manufacturer space, working with Dell and HP to pre-load consumer software across millions of PC’s annually. He also co-founded the Impulse division, a digital PC software distribution
platform that was subsequently acquired by GameStop.
Kirk started his career at Ford Motor Company, and for over a decade held various positions in several divisions throughout the company including dealer parts & service, marketing, plant floor, audit and other central IT functions. Before leaving Ford, Kirk was responsible for the software used by all of Ford’s North American assembly plants that drove the automotive assembly process.
Kirk is a servant leader, who specializes in attracting talent and motivating teams. He immerses himself in the business and quickly becomes a decision-making partner for both business and technology strategy. Kirk values transparency, trust and respect in all relationships, and seeks understanding to foster partnerships based on those principles.
Kirk holds both a B.S., and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. Kirk lives in Dallas with his wife and two kids. He plays board games, golf and enjoys biking.
