Arvy Rajasekaran was named Chief Information Officer of Enterprise Architecture for Ally Financial Inc., a leading digital financial services company, in June 2020. His responsibilities include driving technology strategy for Ally, solution architecture across all lines of business, data, security and infrastructure. In addition, he has responsibility for the technology labs at Ally and software sourcing.

In his prior role as CIO – Digital at Ally, for the past 4.5 years, Rajasekaran was responsible for digital transformation, technology strategy, delivery and integration across all consumer digital channels for the company. His responsibilities include Sales, Marketing and Servicing technologies across web, mobile and emerging channels such as voice banking.

Rajasekaran joined Ally in 2009 as the technology executive for Ally Bank where he was responsible for insourcing Ally Bank’s Account Opening, Mobile and Online Banking channels. He was also instrumental in key efforts integrating the various lines of business thru rebrand and integration efforts.

Prior to joining Ally, Rajasekaran was responsible for ecommerce Sales and Marketing technology platforms at Wachovia Bank where he oversaw transformation of their content management systems and websites.

Rajasekaran has 20 years of Digital Technology experience in financial and ecommerce domains.

Rajasekaran earned an Engineering degree from Madras University. He is on the Board of Apparo, a Charlotte based nonprofit that empowers area nonprofits thru technology. He is a Mentor for Queen City Fintech and chairs the Asian Middle Eastern Employee Resource group at Ally.
