Apparo, a nonprofit that provides business and technology solutions for Charlotte-area nonprofits, announced today that the Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter has won the 2016 Technology Innovation Award (TIA), sponsored by Accenture.
The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter won the Technology Innovation Award sponsored by Accenture. The organization will receive a $10,000 grant, as well as equally valued pro-bono consulting time from Accenture.
“This grant will allow our foundation to provide greater connectivity to those who feel isolated due to their diagnosis of lupus,” said Christine John-Fuller, President & CEO of the LFANC.
Apparo, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers Charlotte-area nonprofits with technology solutions that enhance their missions, is delighted to announce that Microsoft Corp. will be the presenting sponsor of Apparo’s annual Digital Series of Events and Ball for the second consecutive year.
Nearly 600 guests, including 30 CIOs from Charlotte’s corporate IT community, raised $800,000 to support empowering nonprofits through business and technology solutions at Apparo’s 8th annual Digital Ball, sponsored by Microsoft, on April 26, 2014.
Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro, NC won Apparo’s2014 Technology Innovation Award, sponsored by Accenture, allowing them to implement technology that will give volunteers an additional 1,500 hours a year to care for rescued wildcats.
