Bank of America skilled volunteers will facilitate an assessment of current business processes at Right Moves for Youth and assist with an application selection.
Right Moves for Youth (RMFY) operates with the mission of helping students in grades 6-12 make the most of their education, connections, and opportunities to set themselves up for future success. RMFY collaborates with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), and the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to provide our holistic school-based, youth development and student support program focused on helping teens develop the transferable skills to maximize opportunities, build their networks, and propel them into a successful future.
Right Moves for Youth reached out to Apparo for assistance in their search for a new donor management system that will be more robust than their current system. With the help of the Bank of America volunteer team, the end goal is to select a donor management platform to coordinate donors, donor metrics, and reporting. This project will help streamline, track, and enhance donor data and engagement more efficiently.
The skilled volunteer team will assess the organization’s current business processes in relation to donor management. Through this assessment, a business process and requirements document will be created that prioritizes capabilities needed in the new system. Once this step is complete, the team will conduct research and provide demonstrations to evaluate application options that meet RMFY’s requirements and budget. Finally, volunteers will help identify an application selection that best fits the needs determined in the initial business process review. Additionally, if available, volunteers will provide advice for migrating data to the new donor management system.
