The mission of Apparo, a 501c3 organization, is to transform communities and improve lives by connecting organizations to technology expertise and resources that amplify their impact. Apparo serves organizations of all mission types with the following exceptions:
- Organizations with programs limited to or expressly focused on services for their membership such as but not limited to churches, synagogues, mosques
- Organizations that mandate participation in religious activities in order to receive services.
- Organizations that advocate and/or fundraise for or against:
- Political parties or candidates
- Legislation that does not directly impact constituents they serve
- Social clubs or membership organizations such as, but not limited to, fraternities, sororities, rotary clubs, PTAs, professional organizations, social organizations, booster clubs, fraternities, sororities
- Athletic events and programs (example NFL, NBA, Soccer FC)
- Youth sports league with solely paid programs
- Schools (includes pre-college level charters, public schools, private schools as well as colleges and universities)

Our partnerships are created to add value to communities and invest in 501c3 organizations. For this reason, Apparo reserves the right to restrict our services to organizations that meet criteria such as minimum annual operating budget, employment of paid staff and number of years in existence.
By its nature, Apparo must, from time to time, prioritize its work due to limited resources. To that end, we serve other 501c3 organizations that:
- Have a community-focused mission
- Work to affect the underprivileged members of our community
- Serve a constituency beyond their own, internal membership
